Course Description: This course reviews the Theory and Practice of Interpreting. It also provides significant opportunities to enhance vocabulary knowledge while practicing transcommunication skills in English, in ASL and between the two languages. This course investigates the specialized vocabulary related to linguistics and interpreting. The student should gain a rich knowledge of how to work as a member of a transcommunication team to perform text analysis and other transcommunication tasks.
